God, You Are Simply Amazing!

My writing journey has been something I never really expected.

When I first started writing, I never imagined that it would lead me to meet people who share the same passion for writing, be part of meaningful activities, and, somehow, become an inspiration to others.

And then came another unexpected blessing.

I was invited to be one of the panelists at the 3rd Dumaguete Literary Festival on April 19, 2026, for a panel discussion on “Why You Should Read with Kids: Notes on Family Time.”

Honestly, it had been a long time since I had spoken in front of people and shared my thoughts as part of a panel. I was both excited and a little nervous. But I was truly honored to be there with fellow panelists whom I deeply respect and admire for their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.

But you know what made the experience even more special?

The reading session with the kids.

I had the opportunity to read my book, Tiny Talks, Timeless Moments, with the children—and I had my daughter with me! So, what could have been just another reading session became a beautiful bonding moment between the two of us. It was one of those simple moments that you know you’ll remember for a long time.

And seeing the children and parents enjoy the session made my heart happy.

When I started writing my books, my desire was actually quite simple. I just wanted to share some of my personal experiences and the blessings I have received through God’s grace in my life.

Little did I know that the stories I was writing from my own experiences would also become a blessing to others.

It still warms my heart every time I receive messages from readers telling me that my books have inspired them to cherish moments with their children, even the simplest ones, and to live each day with a grateful heart.

And honestly, if my stories blessed them, I feel even more blessed by the experience.

These moments remind me why I write—and inspire me to keep writing, keep sharing, and hopefully continue spreading a little more love, joy, and gratitude along the way.

Looking back, I can only smile and say… God, You are indeed simply amazing!
